Biography of Tony Schneider, Associate Consultant

Tony provides client service and a first-hand perspective on navigating the special needs community. His goal is to make the challenging journey that families face more enjoyable with his diligence and humor.

Tony was born and raised in Lisle, IL. He has Right Spastic Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy and two brothers with special needs. His family received support from many organizations over the years. To now have the opportunity to serve others in a support and advocacy role brings him great satisfaction.

Academically, Tony received his Bachelor of Science degree in business with finance honors from DePaul University. Working his way through school, he created a business teaching financial modeling workshops to undergraduate business students.

He is currently continuing his professional education with CFP® designation coursework through Northwestern University.

Generous with his time and knowledge, Tony enjoys volunteering and board service with a number of local organizations including Special Olympics Illinois, Red Shoe Society (Ronald McDonald House Charities), and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. In college, he interned with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In addition to his charitable work, Tony enjoys daily exercise, golfing, and stand-up comedy. He considers himself to be an NBA aficionado and is a big fan of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Cubs.
