



Ryan McGuire is passionate about helping families navigate financial and special needs planning with empathy and purpose. Inspired by his sister Caiti’s strength in facing lifelong diagnoses, Ryan brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to each client relationship.
Ryan holds several professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Special Needs Consultant® (ChSNC®), and Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®). He earned his degree in Economics and Personal Finance from the University of Wisconsin, where he returned to teach in an adjunct role from 2016-2018. Prior to joining Oak Wealth Advisors, Ryan spent seven years at a national CPA-based Registered Investment Advisor serving families and business owners nationwide. He served as a board member of Wispact, Inc., one of the nation’s largest pooled special needs trust administrators, from 2017-2022. In 2024, Ryan was appointed by Governor Tony Evers to serve on the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities and State College Savings Program Board.
Ryan lives with his wife, Abby, their two daughters, and their Goldendoodle, in Madison, Wisconsin. Outside of work, he enjoys refereeing high school & collegiate wrestling, performing music for the important events of loved ones, and participating in the perks of ownership of the Green Bay Packers.
