2025 was another great year for The Special Needs Voice, and we are so thankful for the incredible guests, listeners, and supporters who made it possible. This year, new listeners grew by more than 550%, and our follower count increased by 60%, reflecting the growing reach and impact of conversations happening within the special needs community. Our podcast also went global in 2025, with listeners tuning in from eight different countries!
We were honored to receive recognition from Spotify with two awards this year. The Special Needs Voice was named a 2025 Rising Star, an award given to podcasts whose audiences grew faster than 75% of shows on the platform. We were also recognized as a 2025 Fan Fave, highlighting shows with listener ratings higher than 75% of other podcasts on Spotify.
Our mission has always been to create a platform for individuals doing incredible work in the special needs community by providing space to share experiences, insights, and stories. As we head into our third year, we continue to highlight voices from across the country.
