Oak Wealth Advisors’ First 100 Days of 2017
The First 100 Days (No, Not His…)
We wanted to update you on the first 100 days of the year at Oak Wealth Advisors. It has been a momentous period that we feel has us well positioned to deliver the best possible client service in the future. The fortune cookies that we opened late in 2016 could not have been more insightful.
In terms of building for the future, we have bought an office building that will become the permanent home of Oak Wealth Advisors later this year. We think that qualifies as not being afraid to take that big step (fortune #1 above). The new office will give us the room to grow and the ability to create a unique environment that we hope clients will love to visit. As we approach our occupancy date, we will provide you with more details.
We have also hired one of the brightest students from the country’s leading undergraduate financial planning program. Ben Brundrett will be joining our practice this June and we are really excited about having him as part of our team. His addition will allow us to maintain a high level of client service as we continue to grow.
Our focus has always been on client satisfaction rather than on the growth of our assets under management. This quarter, over half of our clients completed our online survey and we are proud to have scored higher than our peer firms in all categories that measured client satisfaction. We intend to retain our high level of client satisfaction and meet with clients on a more frequent basis. We believe that the more often we meet, the more issues we can help you address.
Our recent client growth has also been notable. In the first quarter of 2017, we added more clients than we added in all of 2016. To use author Malcolm Gladwell’s term, our firm hit a “tipping point” from which we expect to have sustained growth at a faster pace than we had experienced in the past. We are implementing some new technology and will continue to add to our staff to ensure that we can meet the needs of our expanding client base.
If you have read this far, you understand how excited we are with the start of 2017 and how we are preparing to make the rest of this year and the years to come even better for our clients. On a personal note, I am very grateful for the outpouring of support I received from all of you late last year and earlier this year regarding the health of my children. I am happy to report that both of them have regained their physical health and have had very good academic semesters thus far. Their futures and the futures of all of our clients are very bright!
