Ben Brundrett

Ben Brundrett, Advisor

 

Ben Brundrett is a graduate of Texas Tech University. He attained his bachelor’s degree in their Personal Financial Planning program.  He served as the Vice President of Texas Tech’s Red to Black Financial Literacy Organization.  As a junior, he represented Red to Black at the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) conference where his team placed second in the country in their Knowledge Bowl competition.  

Ben sought opportunities to help others during his time at Texas Tech.  He volunteered frequently at the Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research in Lubbock, Texas. He also spent time providing assistance through the volunteer income tax assistance program (VITA) that helps low income families file their taxes. 

Ben has three siblings including a younger sister who is on the Autism spectrum.  His relationship with his sister has helped him develop compassion for others and provides him with a first-hand perspective on the challenges faced by families with special needs members.  Ben shares the passion that everyone at Oak Wealth Advisors has for serving the special needs community.
